On Saturday 13 March the small outback town of Thallon will host a unique outdoor dining experience, Grazing at the Watering Hole.

Following a sold-out event in 2018, Grazing at the Watering Hole 2021 will grow from 120 to 200 guests. Set in front of Thallon’s towering grain silos and their spectacular large-scale mural titled “The Watering Hole” painted and designed by Queensland artists Drapl & The Zookeeper, the event offers a relaxed country feel amongst a spectacular setting.

The COVID Safe event aims to showcase and support local producers and offer a truly local and unique night out for the Thallon community and visitors to enjoy. Grazing at the Watering Hole will feature local musicians “When Sonny Getz Blue”, live art demonstration by silo artist Drapl (Travis Vinson) a special guest MC and more.

With a focus on local produce, the evening’s menu includes (individual) charcuterie boxes, slow cooked meats, salads, desert, tea and coffee and cash bar, plus drink on arrival compliments of our local River Sands Winery.

SOLD OUT, SORRY!
