For our lucky ticket holders!

We cannot wait to share Grazing at the Watering Hole 2021 with you.

We are pleased to provide the following information to help you enjoy your evening and ensure the event runs smoothly.

ARRIVAL

6pm-6:30pm. Please have tickets ready – printed (ideally) or on your phone. You will also be asked to sign in (individually, sorry) via QR code on your phone.

Formalities finished! We invite you to enjoy a complimentary glass of red, white or sparkling from Riversands Winery, en route to your seat/table, which is unassigned and eagerly awaiting you!

SEATING

Due to COVID regs this year will see 25 tables of 8 people rather than the “long table” setting. We appreciate you settling in ASAP – and hopefully making some new friends!

EATS & DRINKS

CASH BAR (no eftpos) will be available, all profits to Thallon Progress Association Inc.

Char ”cute” rie grazing boxes will be waiting at your seat.

Dinner will be served by our delightful volunteers between 7-7:30pm –an alternate drop of juicy chicken maryland or smokey beef brisket plus fresh local salads and crusty rolls. Dessert (by the delightful Donna of FarmHouse St. Goerge) will also be served to your seat with an option for self-serve tea & coffee.

TRANSPORT

Translink have generously sponsored our Courtesy Bus which will service the local area and deliver you safely to and from the event.  To book a seat please phone Janna on 0427 142 100.

There are also spots available to and from St George via Palmers Coaches so if you would like to book a seat, please phone Palmers Reservations on 07 46271294.

ACCOMMODATION

Rooms in Thallon are booked out but there are “first in best dressed” spaces available at the Thallon Camp Ground, which are free unless you need power ($5.5 pay at pub).

WHAT TO WEAR

Smart casual dress – with a jacket incase it gets cool. Our resident photographer will be there to capture your experience, so we suggest looking smart – but keeping comfy!

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

There will be Merchandise for sale, an exciting Raffle and Live Art Auction to raise funds for the Thallon Progress Association so they can support future Community Projects.

Well that’s the formal stuff – from there it’s just amazing music, friends, food, fireworks and a fabulous atmosphere!!!
